Fashion Report| Founders Of D&G Sentenced To Jail



There has been recent talk of the severity of the allegations directed towards the Designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the founders of the fashion conglomerate Dolce & Gabbana have been undergoing a trial for tax evasion. Today the pair have both been sentenced to a year and eight moths each in prison. The lawyer that represented the business partners, Massimo Dinoia released a statement saying that the pair should be acquitted of their charges; the jury met for three hours this afternoon before giving their verdict, the Court judge Antonella Brambila ruled in the case of one of two counts that were originally brought against them - the case was in regards to the sale of there D&G lines to the Gado Srl company. The charges of the unpaid taxes are said to be almost double the amount that the brand currently makes, and in order to repay the taxes there will be inevitable repercussions on the Company.
